Accessibility Statement

EaseThat Ltd aims to make easethat.co.uk usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people using assistive technologies.

Accessibility target

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This statement describes our current approach and does not represent a formal conformance claim while production testing and third-party integration checks remain in progress.

Our approach

The current website uses responsive layouts, semantic landmarks and headings, keyboard-accessible controls, labelled forms, text alternatives for meaningful images, visible focus states, scalable text, reduced-motion support and Skip to Main Content links. Status timelines include text descriptions rather than relying on colour alone. WooCommerce account, cart and checkout pages are styled to preserve their native accessible form structure.

How we test

Our review includes keyboard navigation, visible focus, content reflow and zoom, form labels and errors, colour contrast, status messages and representative screen-reader checks. Automated checks support this work but do not replace manual testing.

Third-party functionality

Some functions, including payment gateways, embedded third-party services or vendor content, may be provided by third parties. We aim to select and configure services with accessibility in mind but do not fully control third-party interfaces.

Known limitations

Complex visual demonstrations and some third-party commerce, payment, security or embedded-service components may not offer the same experience to every assistive technology. We continue to test these components and will record material unresolved barriers here.
